• Hostos Provost Shiang-Kwei Wang Named a Top Leader of the Asian Community in New York
  
  Hostos Community College is proud to share that Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Shiang-Kwei Wang has been recognized as one of the "Top 2024 Power of Diversity: Asian 100" by City & State New York. This prestigious honor celebrates individuals who exemplify leadership, influence, and commitment to diversity within New York State's Asian community.

• Capturing the Essence of the Bronx: Ten Hostos Students’ Photographic Journey
  
  Explore "The Hostos Neighborhood," a photographic exhibit that showcases the dynamic visual narratives students bring to the historical and contemporary stories of the Bronx. Journey to the A-Atrium to experience ten compelling photographs by the students of the "First-Year Seminar: A New York State of Mind," led by Humanities Professor Michelle Cheikin. The exhibit will run until Wednesday, May 15.

• Hostos Community College Receives Largest Endowed Scholarship in College History
  
  Hostos Community College is pleased to announce the creation of the Randi Potack, Dorothy Hausberg and Judith Z. Potack Memorial Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship, established by the College’s 2023 Gala honoree, Michael Potack, and his three sons and their wives, Robert (Julie), David (Samantha), and Jonathan (Erica), will ultimately total nearly half a million dollars and fund countless scholarships for students in Hostos’ registered nurse (RN) program—year after year—in perpetuity.
