Citizenship Education Program

The Citizenship Education program is offering FREE classes in civics and English, to help students learn all the information they need to pass the United States Citizenship exam.  Classes focus on improving student’s English skills while teaching civics, U.S. History, geography, the hundred questions usually asked on the Citizenship test, listening and speaking skills, and practice interviews.  Information on how to register for the citizenship exam will also be provided.  Classes are taught at a variety of different levels, from a bilingual Spanish/English class for those with very little English, to a college-level class for fluent speakers.  Students will be tested during orientation, and placed in the appropriate level.  All books and materials will be provided.  Students must have a valid green card to be eligible.
