Hostos Password Reset

To reset your password, click on the following link:  Self-Service Password Management
(* Please note that in order to reset your password through the link, you must have already registered your account with the Self Service Password Management System.  If not, please visit the IT Help Desk at B-425 for assistance.)

CUNYfirst Login Help
  • Please refer to the following document for detailed instructions on how to claim your CUNYfirst account and to change your password: Identity Management System (IMS)

  • Please note new students with accounts may have to wait up to 48 hours to first access the myHostos app.
CUNY Portal Login Help
  • If you do not have a CUNY Portal Account, on the Home Page, click on “Register For A New Account” and follow the commands to create a new account
  • If you have forgotten your CUNY Portal Username AND Password, on the home page, click on Account and Password Reset.  If you know your username and have forgotten your password, you can click on “E-mail a New Password” to have a new one sent to you.
Email (Outlook) Help (Students Only)

The Microsoft Outlook App needs to be installed and configured for first time use.

Email (Outlook) Help (Students Only)

  • After the app has installed, tap Get Started
  • Choose Exchange account
  • Tap Show Advanced Settings
  • For Email Address, please enter your Hostos Email address (ex: jdoe1234@stu.hostos.cuny.edu)
  • For Description, please enter Hostos Email
  • For the Server, please type webmail.hostos.cuny.edu
  • For the Domain, please type hostos.cuny.edu
  • For Password, enter the password you use to check your Hostos email
  • For Username, enter your Hostos username (ex: jdoe1234).
