Assessment

The Division of Academic Affairs is committed to the continuous improvement of all academic programs and has implemented a number of assessment activities inclusive of faculty and staff with leadership from several campus committees dedicated to the improvement of student learning outcomes.   Academic Program Reviews (APR) are an integral part of the division's assessment activities.  APRs are completed by degree programs every six years in a multi-stage process which includes  information gathering, a self-study, engagement of an external evaluator and implementation of program revisions.  In 2015, the APR process was updated to integrate the use of faculty Assessment Fellows to better support programs completing reviews.
