Caiman Radio

Caiman Radio

The Office of Communications at Hostos, in collaboration with the College's Digital Music program, is pleased to announce and present Caiman Radio, a podcast production dedicated to highlighting the many incredible things happening on our campus.

Caiman Radio launches with the first episode of a five-part series dedicated to the grand figure of the College's namesake, Eugenio María de Hostos. Professor Emeritus Orlando Hernández discusses the life and times of the great 19th Century humanist, educator, journalist, abolitionist, and thinker whose work has influenced the Caribbean and Latin American region to this day, but whose contributions have been mostly forgotten.

Caiman Radio will roll out more episodes from this series in English and Spanish, as well as Food for Thought, STEM at Hostos, and other programs in the coming weeks and throughout the 2020 spring semester.
