On November 29 in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Room, Hostos Community College President Dr. David Gómez was honored with a 2016 Hispanic Achiever Award by the YMCA of Greater New York.
The award recognizes excellence in community service and corporate leadership by outstanding Hispanic individuals in New York City's businesses and institutions. Dr. Antonio Pérez, President of Borough of Manhattan Community College and longtime friend of President Gómez, presented him with the award.
President Gómez was one of three honorees, along with Miguel A. Fuentes, Jr., President & CEO, Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Lisa Gómez, Partner and COO, L+M Development Partners.
