The late Nuyorican artist and Taller Boricua member -- Jorge Soto Sánchez (1947-1987) is honored in an exhibit featuring selected paintings, ink drawings, and mixed media, including versions of his best known work El velorio de Oller en nueva york. His distinctive iconography which blends African and pre-Columbian motifs, among other traditions, expresses the multiracial and multicultural composition of Puerto Rican identity.
