• Hostos Community College Receives Largest Endowed Scholarship in College History

  Hostos Community College is pleased to announce the creation of the Randi Potack, Dorothy Hausberg and Judith Z. Potack Memorial Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship, established by the College’s 2023 Gala honoree, Michael Potack, and his three sons and their wives, Robert (Julie), David (Samantha), and Jonathan (Erica), will ultimately total nearly half a million dollars and fund countless scholarships for students in Hostos’ registered nurse (RN) program—year after year—in perpetuity.

  Eugenio María de Hostos Community College is thrilled to share that 100% of the 39 Hostos dental hygiene students who took the Simulated Patient Treatment Clinical Examination (SPTCE) ADEX​ Licensure Exam this spring have passed!

• Undocumented Black Students’ Experiences in Higher Education Discussed and Amplified at Hostos
  
  Dr. Felecia Russell, author of "Amplifying Black Undocumented Student Voices in Higher Education," delivered a thought-provoking book talk at Hostos Community College on Friday, April 26. The event, attended by approximately 70 individuals, including students, administrators, staff, and faculty, provided valuable insights into the often-overlooked experiences of Black undocumented students in higher education.
