What is a micro-internship and how do I find one?

Micro-Internships with Parker Dewey are short-term, paid, professional projects open to all college students and recent graduates of U.S.-based institutions. From working directly with an entrepreneur to supporting a large enterprise, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different roles and company cultures as you gain valuable experience.

Getting started

Hostos Community College, Career Services is excited to announce an opportunity for our students to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Parker Dewey Micro-Internships.

Through these short-term, paid, project-centered experiences, you can demonstrate your skills, explore career paths, and expand your professional network. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and are deadline-driven as opposed to set during specific hours - perfect for students with erratic or hectic schedules!

Not only does this help the companies across various industries and departments who are looking for skills like yours, but it also allows you to get real-world experience and network with professionals. Additionally, by engaging these companies early in your college career, you can make yourself a more experienced and appealing candidate for future internship and career opportunities.
