ID Card Exchange

Hostos has upgraded its ID card system, including turnstiles, classrooms, and offices. As part of this upgrade, all students, faculty, and staff must exchange their current ID card for a new one, as existing cards will no longer function.


 

IMPORTANT

Campus Public Safety ID Card Advisory

Operation to print and issue college ID cards from the A-475 Building lobby will end today on 2/5/2026 at 6 pm. 
 
Starting on Friday, February 6, 2026, freshmen and returning students must visit the Campus ID room located in the B-500 Building room BC0-42A to obtain an ID card. 
 
Faculty & Staff ID cards can be picked up at the Public Safety Administrative Office located in the 450 Building, room C030. 
 
Reminder any returning student and current employees must surrender the old ID card before the new ID card is issued. Anyone who has lost their old ID card must visit the Bursar's Office and pay the $10 fee an obtain a receipt which they will present to the ID room or Public Safety Office to get their ID card. 


 



For ​Lost ID

If your ID card has been lost, please visit the Bursar’s Office first. After payment, bring your receipt to our office, where it will be retained for our records and you will receive your ID.
 

Note:

  • Caiman card cash balances are automatically transfered to new ID card.
  • Pharos printing/copying balances will not be rolled over to the new card, however, new amounts will be allocated as per protocol.
