  1. From www.hostos.cuny.edu, select Succeed@Hostos from the “Login to” drop-down menu and log in using your Hostos credentials.

How to Locate a Student's Assigned Coach or Advisor

  1. From the Hostos homepage (www.hostos.cuny.edu), select Succeed@Hostos from the “Login To” drop- down menu and use your Hostos credentials to login.
  2. Enter the student EMPL in the search bar located on the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on student name to open student folder.
  4. On left side of student folder, select “Network”
  5. Look for the “Success Coach” or “Advisor” that is assigned to the student.

How to Raise a Flag Manually snip

  1. After logging into Succeed@Hostos at the top of your home screen, click on the hamburger menu located to the left “Succeed@Hostos”.
  2. Select “Students” from the drop-down menu. A new screen will open. Make sure a red line appears under the words, “My Students”.
  3. Find the student for whom you want to raise a flag. There are a few ways to filter the student list.
  4. Click in the empty box to the left of the student/s name for whom you want to raise a flag/s.
  5. Note: If you want to raise the same flag an individual student, you may select more than one student at a time. Repeat the process to raise a second or third flag for the students.
  6. Next click on the Flag icon. A new screen will open.
  7. From the Flag drop-down, select the flag you want to raise.
  8. From the Course Context drop-down, select the course the student is in.
  9. Leave Due Date blank.
  10. A “comment” may automatically populate. You may add information to this box if you wish.
  11. Press “Save” to raise the flag. The screen will disappear and the “My Students” screen will appear. A message will appear at the bottom that states a flag/s has been raised successfully. That message will disappear quickly.
  12. Repeat the process to raise multiple flags.

  1. After logging into Succeed@Hostos and clicking on the hamburger menu, select “Students” from the drop-down menu. A new screen will open. Make sure a red line appears under the words, “Tracking”.
  2. Select the course for the student/s you want to see from the “Connection” drop-down menu.
  3. Click the empty box to the left of the student/s name for whom you want to raise a flag/s.
  4. Next click on the Flag icon. A new screen will open.
  5. From the Flag drop-down, select the flag you want to raise.
  6. From the Course Context drop-down, select the course the student is in.
  7. Leave Due Date blank.
