Mission

The mission of the Joint Dual Admission Engineering Program of Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College with The City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering is to provide for our multicultural and underrepresented student population a strong foundation of knowledge in science and mathematics as well as provide them with a high quality general education background.

To achieve this mission, the Mathematics and the Natural Sciences Departments are committed to keep the highest standards of excellence in teaching and service.
 
General Goal: To better prepare our students to earn advanced degrees in STEM fields.
 
Specific Goal: To better prepare our students to succeed in The City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering programs.
