Advising
Advising services at Hostos are offered through three key units: the Student Success Coaching Unit (SSCU), College Discovery (CD), and Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP). Each unit has its own structure, but they work together to share best practices and ensure that no matter where you start, you’ll receive consistent and caring support.
Every Hostos student—whether you're starting fresh, transferring in, or returning—is assigned an advisor or coach when you're admitted. While meeting with an advisor isn’t required, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of these easy-to-access services. They’re here to help you stay on track and graduate on time!
Registration
Register for classes as early as possible when the college opens registration for the following semester.
