Mission Statement of the COIL @Hostos Committee: The COIL @Hostos Committee promotes cross-cultural awareness and global interconnectivity through support and educational activities for faculty aimed at the creation of international virtual exchange projects. The goals of the committee are to enhance civic engagement and student competencies necessary for success in the 21st century. The committee’s activities help fulfill the themes of the Hostos mission of multiculturalism, diversity, socio-economic mobility, intellectual growth and lifelong learning.
