Responsibilities
 
The Consultation & Assessment Team (CAT) will:
  • Develop an online form for Members of the college community to report suspected cases.
  • Develop and disseminate informational materials focused on identification and prevention of disruptive behavior.
  • Receive and gather information about difficult situations involving members of the college community.
  • Discuss referred cases.
  • Make recommendations on how to handle/resolve cases which are referred. 
  • Serve as a resource to members of the college community to address the needs of individuals with behavioral, emotional, and psychological concerns.
  • Compile and maintain a list of community agencies/services to refer individuals in need of services beyond their professional scope.
  • Help connect on campus services and response.  
  • Meet once a month and as necessary in emergency situations.
  • Recommend appropriate action per case in accordance with existing college policies.
