On August 16, Hostos students in CUNY’s Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) visited the United National General Hall as participants in the International Young Leaders Assembly’s 9th annual Global Summit. Titled, “Moral and Innovative Leadership for Sustainable Development: Vision, Service, and Entrepreneurship,” the program forged lasting connections with various leaders both nationally, and globally, as well as skills sets necessary to create sustainable change in their communities and society.

International Young Leaders Assembly (IYLA) is a premier partnership-driven leadership development initiative, which empowers promising young leaders to positively impact communities, nations and the world. Emphasizing the importance of vision, service and entrepreneurship as the foundation of moral and innovative leadership, the IYLA hosts student leaders and young professionals for interactive programs with globally significant leaders and institutions.
