Tuesday, February 4, 2014 (Bronx, NY) - Nearly every Hostos Community College student will need financial assistance to pay for their college education. That is why the Hostos Institutional Advancement Division has launched a pilot of its first-ever Online Scholarship Management System to assist all students—from enrolling freshmen, to returning students—who are looking for additional financial support.
Hostos and the Hostos Community College Foundation offer numerous scholarships to full- and part-time students. These scholarships are made possible by generous donors who believe in our mission. We know that not every student, nor every scholarship, is the same and matching both together is extremely important, thus we developed this easy to use site. The new Online Scholarship Management System at Hostos is free, comprehensive and easy to use.
This new web page contains a great deal of information about scholarships that are offered by Hostos and other external sources. Please visit the Hostos website for more information on how to navigate your application or log in directly using the sign in option.
In 2013, Hostos awarded over $300,000 in scholarship awards to more than 500 students. These funds helped to pay tuition, buy textbooks, and even helped students who were facing unforeseen financial hardships.
Let this new web page be your expressway to an associate degree at Hostos. It is comprehensive and simple to use. Log on today, and you might be surprised at what you find.
