Hostos’ Division of Institutional Advancement received two Gold Awards for its
2014-15 Annual Report: “Impact” at both the
32nd Annual Educational Advertising Awards and the
2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards.
The Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report, is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over 2,250 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. A national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report judged the competition.
The 2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards program had more than 900 entries from across the United States representing a plethora of educational facilities from small community colleges to large schools and universities. All entries are centralized for judging (per category) by a panel of design and education marketing professionals with decades of combined experience. Entries are judged on creativity, layout/design, typography, production, quality and overall effectiveness.
In both competitions, Hostos’ annual report was judged against those of other business/community colleges.
CN Foundry wrote, designed, prepared digital mechanicals and supervised pre-press production of the 2014-2015 annual report, working closely with Hostos administration and staff.
