Eager Hostos students, alumni, and community members showed up ready to get jobs.
Hundreds of Hostos Community College students, alumni, and community members lined up at the Hostos Gym for the Jobs NYC Bronx Hiring Hall, creating an atmosphere of excitement and opportunity. The event, hosted for a second year at the College, brought together 40 employers ready to hire our talented and motivated attendees.

Forty employers were happy to provide information about jobs available at their agencies.
The Hiring Hall showcased a diverse array of employers from both the public and private sectors, all dedicated to providing immediate job opportunities. This diversity ensured that all participants had the chance to engage directly with potential employers, paving the way for successful career paths and meaningful employment.

Attendees were also met with educational opportunities, such as CUNY Reconnect, which facilitates returning to higher education to finish a degree or learn new skills employers might seek.
This event offered many benefits, including opportunities to work for the City of New York, face-to-face time with private employers across the city, access to workforce development training and programs, and connections to valuable resources, including public benefits.

Many employers were able to offer jobs on the spot.
