Hostos Interim President Daisy Cocco De Filippis has been recognized as one of
City & State NY’s Higher Education Power 100.
City & State is a media organization which covers New York’s local and state politics and policy. Its yearly lists honor the most powerful public officials, policymakers, superintendents, scholars and activists, as well as labor, business and nonprofit leaders. 2021 marks the first list for higher education.
“I was delighted to hear that I’d been chosen,” Cocco De Filippis said. “It’s an honor to be included in such a distinguished group.”
City & State published the list of influential educators on April 19.
