On Thursday, October 1, Interim President Daisy Cocco De Filippis will appear on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MMN)’s television program Punto de Vista con Carlos Cabrera.
 
Dr. Cocco De Filippis will discuss the legacy of the fabled Puerto Rican educator and activist Eugenio María de Hostos, for whom Hostos Community College is named, as well as her own distinguished work as an educator. Carlos Cabrera serves as the host and Zenaida Mendez is the Executive Director of this popular program, which examines issues and events pertaining to NYC’s Spanish-speaking communities.
 
The episode featuring Dr. Cocco De Filippis will air on October 1 at 8 p.m. on the following television channels:  Spectrum, Channel 34; 1993, MNNHD; RCN, Channel 82; Verizon, Channel 33. The program is also show on BronxNet:  Optimum, Channel 69 and Verizon, Channel 35. It will also be Livestreamed worldwide at www.mnn.org.
 
Additionally, the program will be repeated on Sunday, October 3 at 8 a.m. on MNN4.
