Starting August 16, 2021, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors entering our campus must either have proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test.

At that time, the College will also stop using daily health screenings and temperature checks as our building entry procedure.


Vaccinated? Your verification documents should be submitted through CUNYfirst.


Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or don't want to share your vaccination information? You're required to do regular, weekly PCR testing for COVID-19 through CUNY's testing program. Plan ahead, because students, faculty, and staff must be tested at a CUNY site; results from other providers will not be allowed.


You will not be allowed to enter the Hostos campus if you do not have proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

You're also required to wear a face covering, physically distance, and follow all other campus guidelines. This is true for everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated.


Students should also be aware:
  • If you’re taking a class on campus (in-person or hybrid), you must be fully vaccinated.
  • If you’re coming to use services or visit an office (like the Library, Open Computer Lab, or Financial Aid), you must be vaccinated or have a recent negative COVID-19 test.
  • While more service areas and offices will be open, you’ll still need to schedule appointments so plan ahead!
