The International Indigenous Hip-Hop Festival (IIHHF) is coming to the South Bronx - the historic birthplace of Hip-Hop - bringing together artists from across the Americas, from North to South. From October 9 to 12, the festival will feature tours, open mics, wellness sessions, workshops, and a main stage jam at the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture. The Bronx gave Hip-Hop its first voice, and this festival brings Indigenous voices back into the cypher to share knowledge and return to the roots through cultural exchange. Both Indigenous communities and the Bronx stand on the frontlines of climate crisis and cultural resistance, offering living solutions and vital knowledge for the future.
