Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture is thrilled to be the Bronx home of the 2024-25 Diamonstein-Spielvogel Initiative for Music and Community Engagement. This exciting FREE series brings world-class performances by the acclaimed Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) right to our neighborhood.

The evening will feature three late-career works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Elgar inviting reflection and a sense of nostalgia. A perfect evening of chamber music with a spectacular cast of CMS musicians performing

Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata in D major for Cello and Piano, Op 102, No. 2 (1815)
Johannes Brahms: Sonata No. 3 in D minor for Violin and Piano, Op. 108 (1886-88)
Edward Elgar: Quintet in A minor for Piano, Two Violins, Viola, and Cello, Op. 84 (1918-19)
