Title V grant will strengthen and expand a comprehensive, intentional and multi-modal first-year experience for all Hostos students. The activity includes:

(a) Developing and implementing a Summer Bridge program for incoming students to provide students with early support and help them become college-ready
(b) Initiating an online onboarding module that informs new students about how to access advising, counseling, tutoring, and other academic and non-academic supports
(c) Developing and implementing a voluntary, non-credit 7-week onboarding course
(d) Financial literacy workshops and resources
(e) Making Chromebooks and other tech resources more available to students
(f) Expansion of peer mentoring capacities
