The Office of Communications works to promote and document the activities and accomplishments of Hostos students, alumni, faculty, and staff. We collaborate across departments to produce a variety of outward facing materials that support the College’s mission of driving socioeconomic growth through education. The Communications team deals with such areas as Public and Media Relations, Social Media, Marketing and Advertising, Institutional Branding, and Publications and Publication Design. It is not only a liaison between the campus community and the press, but also prepares internal documents for the College. The office is also the primary point of contact to respond to crises, whether in person, via phone or in writing – in conjunction with the Office of Public Safety.
