The College Discovery Program serves students who demonstrate academic potential and meet specific eligibility criteria established by The City University of New York (CUNY). Eligibility is determined based on a combination of academic background, economic need, and residency status.
Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee acceptance into the program, as participation is subject to availability of funding and space.
Applicants to the College Discovery Program must:
- Be a resident of New York City for at least one year prior to entering college
- Be a high school graduate or recipient of a state-approved equivalency diploma
- Have a high school academic average of less than 80
- Be a first-year new entering college student
- Have a gross family income that meets the New York State guidelines
Students must demonstrate readiness to participate in a structured academic support program.

- Attend and complete the CD Bridge Program
